FILE STRUCTURE: * The NMR DATA file consists of five files, each for a different clay or clayey soil. * Within each soil file are four files, for cooling and warming free induction decay (FID), and cooling and warming T2 measurements. * Within each of these files are the raw data files (.Dat), and parameter files (.Par) associated with each set of readings. The parameter files give all of the P-NMR settings. * The raw files are named according to treatment (Ca for calcium, Mg for magnesium, Na for sodium, K for potassium), followed by the temperature at which it was collected in degrees C. The extra set of data is for the untreated sample. For example, in the chlorite file, CCa is the designation for the untreated chlorite. P-NMR: All data was collected with a Maran Ultra P-NMR.
